This was a rather unique project. We did not do the entire bathroom just the shower and two side walls, flooring, and main build-in pantry were left untouched and protected.
The old shower was unfortunately leaking and our customer had no choice but to redo it.
We had to remove the toilet, custom vanity, and custom build-in medicine cabinet in order to gain access to the wall of the wall tiles, that were being removed.
The removal and demolition process was long and painful since it was our objective not to damage the flooring and the main built-in pantry. Which we did. The demolition took 5 days when it usually takes one day.
We have to rebuild inefficient and over-complicated framing, removing unneeded corners and angles and simplifying the shower layout as much as possible. By doing so we were able to gain almost an extra foot in shower length and 2-3” in height, which is always a good thing.
