A Smaller Bathroom Project With a Personal Story
Friends, this is an example of a partial bathroom renovation. In this particular case, which we completed in early 2026, we partially renovated the bathroom.
I usually do not take projects like this, but for this specific case, it was for an elderly customer with exquisite taste — uniquely his own. He had renovated his own townhouse from top to bottom, and this bathroom was the last piece he needed help with.
Frankly, plumbing was not something he wanted to touch. He also had very specific tiles in mind, which you can see in the pictures. Based on the recommendation of some of our previous customers, he reached out to us for this project.

The Scope of the Partial Bathroom Renovation
The project consisted of removing the old tub and tile and installing a new tub, which our customer sourced through Bath Depot. It was a deeper tub, and the customer wanted to be able to take both showers and baths.
We completed this project within one week.
All products were selected by the customer on his own. The tub came from Bath Depot, the tile came from Euro Tile & Stone, and you can see a very unique plumbing fixture — a shower tower. Most shower towers are specifically for showers, but this one in particular works for both a tub and shower combination.

Customer-Selected Materials and Fixtures
One of the things that made this project unique was how involved the customer was in the selections. He knew what he wanted, and he had already chosen the materials and fixtures before we began.
The tile had a very distinct look, and the shower tower gave the bathtub area a custom feel. It was not a standard tub and shower setup, and that is what made this project special.
A Unique Pivot Tub Door
Another very unique aspect of this project is that instead of installing a curtain rod, we installed a pivot tub door.
I usually do not recommend those tub doors, as they can be cumbersome and very difficult to maintain due to the U-channels. They tend to build up a lot of calcium, and keeping them clean can be difficult.
This particular door, however, is a beauty. We have used it in another project, and I am very happy with it. The customer selected this door, and as you can see in the pictures, it looks amazing.
How We Installed the Tub
Like I said, the project took one week to complete. We did all the plumbing, and the tub was installed using our unique method of supporting the tub with a mortar subbase, which makes it very strong.
We also used spray foam around the base of the tub in order to preserve heat. One of the things the customer mentioned is that he took a bath, and usually the water would cool off very quickly. In this case, it stayed warm for a long time.
The Final Result
You can see in the customer video that he is very happy with the work. We are very grateful to be able to work for such wonderful people as Pierre and to complete projects like this.
This was not a full bathroom renovation, but it was a very thoughtful update. It gave the customer the deeper tub, shower function, tile finish, and custom details he wanted while keeping the rest of the bathroom intact.
